The food and services was so good definitely would recommend when downtown!
We celebrated our daughter and future son-in-law's wedding occurring tomorrow and the atmosphere, food, and service was absolutely incredible. This area is a super place for a restaurant with tremendous views and a super vibe. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in Iowa City or any people visiting. This is a must visit restaurant.

This evening I went to 401 oak to celebrate an anniversary. Unfortunately the 401 oak experience left us very disappointed. We were sat in the restaurant at 6:40 and didn’t receive our entrees until 8:45. We waited over an hour for our food and were attempted to be accommodated with a comp off a $6 glass of beer. The food came out warm at best. My boyfriend got the penne and chicken, valued at $25, which tasted like Ragu.
