We've lived at 40 west 86 street for about ten years. The building staff are sensational. Yes, there are issues-the building is almost 100 years old-but they are handled quickly and with great attention to the tenants' desiderata. Our super, Serge, is always available and proactive. I'd also like to give a shout-out to a couple of Rudin Management office personnel; Ardit Hysaj, Dana DeCastro-Rothstein and Sarah Montelipano have helped us with various projects over the years, especially during the current one. Excellent building to live in. Friendly staff that is attentive to the tenants needs. The building and premises are well maintained and kept very clean. The building is also very secure. I highly recommend living here.
