Way too expensive and not worth it
Expensive, does not offer anything over other shops. Pointed out 2 things wrong with my car that are non-issues. Car passed BAR inspection as is. Failed test due to legitimate reasons- CEL didn’t work and high NOx. Not sure if he would have failed me for the non-issues. Told me to seafoam my car and it will pass. Go somewhere cheaper and higher quality if possible.
100 Dollars for a smog check is insane. The state average is around $30 - $80. I will not be returning there in a couple years. The service was fast, and that's about the only good thing I can say. I would look elsewhere if you want something cheaper.
This guy told me that my camper van passed smog, and informed me that I needed to fix my evap. I confirmed MULTIPLE times that the vehicle still passed smog regardless of needing repairs. Since I didn’t have any trips planned, I wanted to submit the paperwork and then worry about the repair later. I did my registration online, only to get a letter back from the DMV stating that my registration was incomplete, and there was additional late fee was around $200. Needed a smog on one of my cars last minute. Not sure why there are so many mixed reviews, but I was in and out within 15 min. The man that did the smog gave me a good price too. His name was “Jackie”.
