9pm, just a couple tables occupied. I asked the lady at the register if we should seat ourselves. She said sure, so we did. Servers and a bartender rushed past our table. A few minutes later I went back to the register and asked her for two menus. She smiled and gave them to me. The chicken sandwich was fabulous! Houston the manager is the best.
The food was good and the waitresses were very friendly.
I'd like to give recognition to the late night/early morning staff at 3rd street Diner, in particular the night shift manager, Kristi. I came in during a rush period with a lot of situations happening at once; Kristi went above and beyond in making sure I had my order (which was great) as well as managing several other demanding tasks. It was a great example of leadership and service, Kristi exemplified the qualities of an awesome manager and person!
The food was delicious. Gave us a lot of food for a great price! Will be coming back for the french toast meal :)
Home fries was salty not to mention everything was cold..our toast was soooo hard like it was toasted hrs earlier...so we had to wait for toast after we already had our meal...and the eggs look like they we're cooked in a dirty pan bc the eggs was brownish worse meal ever...
