RecommendedCapt Marc and Capt Russell were some of the best teachers ive had yet. Instinctive in nature, you can tell these guys live/love their job. I would highly recommend taking the in-person class with them, and then go get your Master's too. Its a nice refresher of OUPV with a lot added in. Thanks again!
Good school that really helps you learn and retain the info. Capt Russell and Capt Marc are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in both sailing and power boats. They take the time to help you if you get hung up on a particular module and work you through it so that you understand. They always make themselves available on cell or text during the week if you have questions. I would recommend these guys if you are looking for a class to get your capt's license.

3rd Coast Captain School is the best place to get your OUPV 6-pack Captain License. The staff of knowledgeable and the course is easy to follow and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in getting licensed or just seeking helpful information for boating. They also guided me through all the application process with the Coast Guard which was worth as much as the course itself. 2 thumbs up all the way. Thanks so much Capt. I've been a pro fishing guide for 5 years and decided to up my license to a 100 ton masters. Capt. Marc and Capt Russell made this class a great learning experience. The small class size allowed us to ask questions and really understand things in a way you won't get from a big capt. School or an online course. If you're looking to get licensed, these guys are great.
