What the sales person stated for my bill did not match with what electric bill actually ended up being. Very hard to get a hold of someone to talk to about the issue.
I have a unique perspective on 3D Solar in that I originally contracted with Maximo Solar (do not ever use them) to install my original solar system and Tesla Powerwall. Not only was the service and communication from Maximo terrible, but they under built my system for me use and needs. Best install crews in Florida.
I don’t recommend this company due to their techs inconsiderate and illegal parking practices. Their complete disregard of people’s safety and well being is appalling.
Beware of this company, Had them install a phew month ago what the salesperson told me my home required. Now Im paying my normal duke energy bill plus the solar panel finance company. The sales person told me that in the winter time I would produce more energy than the energy used, which means I would have a credit for the sumer time. Lie, I not making enough to cover the intire day. Called 3D solar about 20 times, all they tell me is that the solar panels are working as they should.
The techs are super cool and all but they started my job last week and it’s taken them a week to schedule the guys to come back out and actually put the panels up on my house. Scheduling department is a total joke at this company. So as my house sits here with the rails on my roof and a bunch of open connectors waiting for panel, I’m hoping they actually come and install the panels in the rain since that’s when they scheduled to come finish.....
21 months ago 3D Solar recommended a new solar hot water system. In October, 2019 I discovered the glass panel had shattered, for no apparent reason. When I contacted the company I was told they no longer worked or supported these systems. I now have to find another company willing to repair and work on this system. Unsatisfactory.
As of right now I do not recommend this company. Consult went well, installation went well, and when we had a problem with a panel that took a lot more work. Just trying to get a hold of someone on the phone. And now we cant connect to the system through the wifi they set up to check on our system since they replaced the defective panel. And now the receptionist is the only person we can get on the phone. Cant get anyone to get back to us through phone, facebook or twitter.
