e’re Vanessa and John Eric Klein, and we are proud to own and operate 36 Restaurant and Bar. We started off as coworkers, became friends and after our happily ever after, the idea for 36 Restaurant and Bar was born. You start a big project with a small step, so 36 started with a business plan. We had to put our big plan on hold for a year to plan our wedding, but we picked it right back up after the honeymoon and dove in. Fantastic Great food Great atmosphere Friendly help
I love the "ownership" that Vanessa and John Eric take in their operation. There is always their presence at the window before anything comes out of the kitchen to the guest. This sort of "quality control" is not a poor reflection on their chef's expertise, but rather a commitment of excellence to their clients. After 4 years of continued success, they are wise enough to know not to let their guard down. It is consistently good, interesting and always staffed with the most welcoming of servers.
Emily was FABULOUS, we loved her knowledge of the menu and she was competent and charming!
An amazing fine dining experience. Very relaxed and cozy atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious food. I can’t believe we hadn’t heard of this restaurant sooner. We will be back.
I don't know why I didn't go to 36 sooner! We went there to celebrate a couple of big life events and we're lucky enough to catch the first snow of the year downtown. It was beautiful and the inside of 36 really captured the essence of the night with their dimly lit dining area, gold accents, and abundance of fresh, bright, red roses on every table...very elegant.
