Delightful morning at 31st-39th Street Chicago Beach - I posted some fabulous photos below the other day. I'm proud Chicago Park District - even the outhouse was clean and with t-paper. Thank-you for your beautiful lake and skyline Chicago.
I have never in my life been to a beach with so many annoying life guards. There were parent complaining alllllllll day about them. I’m not even exaggerating when I say that every time the kids went in the water and it was above their knees they would blow there stupid little whistle and tell them to back up. Telling the kids to stop splashing so much blah blah blah. Like what do you want them to do?!? Sit there on the shore and collect shells all day? It's amazing how 31st beach was designed & developed. Wonderful views of the skyline. So calming to just sit at the boat dock.
