If you ever have the opportunity to live in a building managed by Sterling Karamar, I strongly advise you not to take it. This is by far the worst building management I have ever dealt with: incompetent, indifferent, and inhumane. I lived there for some time and the heating system never worked properly. Every time I reported it, management simply claimed it was working and ignored the issue. The bathroom exhaust fan never worked, which caused constant humidity and mold to grow on the walls. If I could give zero stars, I would. I lived in this building for 13 months, and it was hands down the worst housing experience of my life. I had to get the hell out for the safety and well-being of myself and my family. Management gaslit me and my family consistently for the entire duration of my tenancy. I had a newborn in the fall, and when winter arrived, there was no heat in the unit. Management repeatedly told us the heating was “working” when it absolutely was not. On Thursday evening, there was a young gentleman in the meat department who took the time and picked out a roast beef for my family your store had on special. Explained the fatting in it and how the ends were big so that it wouldn't dry out. I wish I had gotten his name. Thank you for your time and kindness. It meant a lot.
Poorly maintained building. Management does not fix anything. Example, bathroom fixtures are rotting, manager indicated he is not allowed to order replacement parts. Parking is a huge issue. Underground parking normally front floods and has no security. Past Ownership: would monitor the parking lot for flooding and immediately post an announcement on the PA system to move your cars.
