Booked a villa April 2nd. Get a phone call today that the owner cancelled my reservation. Also informed that they overbooked the resort. The only offer of any help was that I wouldn’t be charged a cancellation fee. What a Joke for customer service.
If I could rate this place ZERO STARS I would... We booked a room for the water park and they called us the night before and said they will only be open for 4 hours the day we had booked. Said it is because its the off season and they can limit hours as they see fit.. This is despite their website saying they are open from 9am-9pm and no indication of possible shortened hours due to "off-season". No refund, no negotiating price nothing... Why would anyone ever want go to a water park just to sit in their room??
The location was close but not too far for a weekend get-a-way. We are a family of four. The room was clean and well kept. But it stunk so bad like feet the whole stay. Luckily, I had an essential oil spray with me that made it bareable. We were disappointed by empty bodywash and conditioner bottles. They only placed three towels in the room. When asked for one more towel, we were told we couldn't get one til next day. Weird. First hotel I have ever stayed that did not have towels available. Their buffet breakfast is basical... read more
comparing our visit from last year to this year, it was noticeable how downhill it has gone. Restaurant wasn’t open, bar was open but not serving appetizers. Our villas were not cleaned, had to wear shoes the floors were so dirty. No vacuum or broom to clean it ourselves. Provided 4 towels for a villa that sleeps 10. Woke up at 4am to check on my kids sleeping on the pull out and the door going outside was wide open & continued to open on its own throughout our stay. Unfortunately I echo so many of the reviews before me - I'd give zero stars if I could. Rented a villa for spring break - hour late check in due to housekeeping staff walking out. Learned kitchen staff also walked out (zero dining options on property because pizza was closed by the time we settled in.) Villa was not clean - we had to sweep before entering.
