The food is unique with local ingredients and so artistically prepared. The decor is simple and comfortable. The service is friendly and he worked hard to meet my special dietary needs. We eat here often!
Always a fantastic meal and beautiful atmosphere! Don’t miss out on this place!!
One our favorite places in Ashland. Great owners who shared a lot of the history of the building and the start of their business. Will definitely go back during our trip next summer.
I want to start by saying I have never given a negative review before this. We had reservations for four at 6:30 pm on Valentines evening. This was last night. We arrived on time. Very good ravioli. Nice ambiance. Good wine. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves. Ashland, enjoy a good place to eat.
Everything--EVERYTHING--from start to finish was fantastic. From the chowder (made with clam, wild rice and whitefish!) to the crab cake and bacon sandwich (you read that right) to the light yet decadent raspberry and peach torte with homemade lemongrass basil ice cream dessert was absolutely amazing. I usually judge a place by its entrees over the appetizers and desserts, but everything was equally good. Great service, worth every penny. Thank you again for the fabulous time, 2nd Street Bistro, we'd love to see you again!
Amazing food! Usually if I get appetizer/soup, sandwich, and dessert at a restaurant, I can rank them 1-2-3, but here, everything is equally delicious! Fresh, seasonal, local - you name it, they've got it!
Great food, great service! Candied pecan salad and mushroom bruschetta!
