I had a very strange experience at this dental office last year and am no longer a client because of it. I received a regular cleaning and the hygienist was really rough with the tools. I had a bad gut feeling but really needed work done and came back for a deep cleaning and to fix a filling. This dentist is in network with our dental insurance and we have been trying for nearly a year and a half to be reimbursed for them overcharging us, as they overcharged us for an in-network service and kept the insurance payment as well. This is an obvious violation of our insurance’s policies. I highly recommend you avoid this practice as you will be out more money than expected despite being in network. I've been going to 286 Madison Dental for over 10 years and have always received the best of dental care and advise. No matter what issues I have had they are always professional and on top of it! Dr. Kaufman and Dr. Shmuely know their stuff and are very good with their hands. The front office led by Tamar is always very accommodating.
