Very sad to see these photos and read these comments. I grew up in this building from 1945 to 1965 and it was a beautiful building that felt safe and like a real home, as did the neighborhood, the walk to school (PS 86) and all the neighborhoods around us. I remember our super who was the same one the whole 20 years I lived there. And we had the incredible Kingsbridge Armory which at the time just seemed like just another building. Oh well. I hope things improve.
This building is very trashy and unsafe. Strangers and shady characters come and go as freely as they want. Its infrastructure is falling apart and it's very filthy. The super and management are neglectful and nowhere to be found; it's nearly impossible to contact them. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dump. NEVER RENT HERE.
