Lived at 255 Stewart with my girlfriend for a year and I was very satisfied with our stay and with management. If we ever had an issue which was far and in between, management was ontop of it that same day if not the next day and always replied within minutes to our messages. Building staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful, and the pool out front was such a nice perk to have in the city for those crazy hot days. Building is improving, whenever there is an issue CLV is actually very attentive. The roach problem has been solved in my apartment and I am really thankful to management for that. However unfortunately in this building there is a super problematic tenant that causes a lot of disturbances. The family don't discipline the kids, so they play soccer in the hallway, and they are always outside in the pool screaming, no matter the day or time. Management has seen all the complaints about roaches but pretends no one is complaining. I will take my business elsewhere. I have not even viewed these units but the scummy responses by the Lal are disgusting.
DO NOT move into The Envoy at 255 Stewart St unless you’re okay with living alongside cockroaches. My girlfriend has been dealing with infestations for MONTHS, and it’s not just her—other tenants have the same problem. Management is completely useless, ignoring complaints and failing to take real action. For the outrageous rent they charge, you’d think basic pest control would be a given, but apparently not. This place is disgusting, and the people running it clearly don’t care. Avoid this place at all costs!
There has been a consistent cockroach problem since I moved in over a year ago. They attempt to fix it but nothing has worked. They also do not warn new renters about the cockroach issue.
