Not only does a previous dog allegedly not have a microchip anymore as I went to update it years later but I recently adopted a shelter dog and was told with confirmation by phone that the microchip requires a subscription. Microchips are really important and that's nonsensical. They don't care about your pets.
Be very careful because the add on additional charges without you knowing.
Cannot log into my account and there is no way to contact a human. All of the chat and phone options are an endless circle of automated responses. There is an option to leave a voicemail to request someone contact you via email, however, After leaving multiple messages, no one has reached out. It seems like the company is defunct with only an automated system left behind.
I called 24Petwatch today in a panic over my lost cat and had the good fortune of speaking with Mary. She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She walked me through filing my lost pet report, helped me troubleshoot some technical issues, and got my other pet registered, all in one call. She turned a really stressful moment into something manageable and made me feel taken care of. If you're lucky enough to get Mary on the phone, you're in good hands. Thank you, Mary, for going above and beyond.
SCAM SCAM SCAM! I made the mistake of contacting them. They tried to sell me the lifetime membership using words like “God forbid something happens to your pet.” I agreed to one month so I can do some research with their promise of sending me more info. They NEVER sent me any follow up info and had the nerve to charge me again for another month.
