I had a lifetime membership with *****'s when 24 Hr Fitness bought the *****s gym in my neighborhood. During the change over they took over my membership. I then had to pay my annual dues to 24 hr Fitness. During the pandemic my gym was closed but I was told I had to continue paying my dues to maintain my lifetime membership. However 24 Hr Fitness did not inform me that my gym had been closed permanently so I paid my annual dues and found out a month later I had just lost my money. Check your statements. This entire pandemic they continued to try and charge me every so often. The amounts would change too when they tried to charge me. In the last three months alone, they’ve charged me $120. I’ve contacted them multiple times. No response. My banks disputed it every time. They’ve had to charged me over $300 since March 2020. Even though they sent out emails saying they froze our accounts and we have to reactivate them. They charged us even when they gyms were completely closed. No one could go in. Such s... read more

24 hour is the worst!!! First they get rid of a ton of equipment and then the day after I cancelled and was told I wouldn’t be charged anything additional, I was charged the annual fee for almost $50. What a total scam. An employee lied to me about not getting charged and then a different employee said there is nothing they can do. Way to go 24 hour fitness! You’re a bunch of crooks and you’re employees lie!

Out a $1,000. I had a monthly membership that I froze during COVID. I saw a monthly charge posted to my credit card today. Called the gym and was told the “freeze” had been removed and they started charging me again on May 25. I said I was not ready to start back to the gym yet and asked to have my membership “freeze” placed back on my account. It was suggested I could cancel for a fee and sign up when I was ready. The South Parker location on 20 mile needs to be closed down. I’ve never had a worse experience with a gym, or customer service. I demand my money back for the month that I didn’t use due to the inconvenience that the staff has caused me

2021 America? I'm upset, disappointed, and sad about my experience today at this San Ramon 24 hour fitness. I had a long work day. I just wanted to get a quick workout in and take a shower, before heading on my 1 1/2 drive home. So, I wanted to use the leg press machine. There wasn't any other ones available, so I waited 20 minutes patiently for a guy to finish. He looks up at me and says if you want to use this then you got to unload my weights. All potential customers of 24 Hour Fitness should be very careful with this ¨Business¨ . They are Scammers, they don't cancel the memberships when you ask them to. Then they use your credit card to charge you for services that you never used and WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. I have already reported 24 Hour Fitness to the ******* ***** **********. I cancelled my membership last year during business closure. It has recently come to my attention they are still charging me for unwanted membership services. This is not a reflection on a local gym, but a company problem which does not care about the individualcustomer.

I have inquired a lawyer in regards an employee @ 24 fitness madera in Simi Valley for disclosing my address to non members who drove to my home property who neighbors witness and made threats in relates to a situation occurred hours before. The fact that employees of 24 fitness disclose my personal home address is a major violation. Unacceptable and I will take a lawsuit action for disclosing person information.
