Good location but the staff lacks customer service skills The Hillsdale 24 hour fitness is located adjacent to a Target store and shares a parking lot with a TJ Maxx. The gym is fairly small yet has a pool and hot tub in the back of the building. The gym is very busy from 4pm to 8pm. There are usually no treadmills or ellipticals available and the staff rarely imposes the 30 min on a machine rule. Disgusting I have stopped working out because I don't like this gym location. My current membership is the second I've had with the 24 hour chain, and I've been disappointed both times. It's true that you get what you pay for, but I think there should be some effort put into keeping machines and rooms clean- I don't see that here. If you're not picky or much into hygiene, then this is the gym for you. If you are particular about the people and details that go into a tight, overcrowded space, I'd look elsewhere. I enjoyed this club very spacious. but at rush hours it gets crowded. personal trainers are great. they help you reach the goal but they are expensive. I loved the group exercises the best. they have many group lessons for various timings. club is clean. lots of equipments.
Yes, I agree with Tiffany........ Tiffany wrote a review on this location and I have to agree. I went as a guest of a friend of mine who has a life time membership. Generally when this person has a guest they don't have to go through the silly sales pitch and what not. I've been there before so a tour is not needed. I also am a trainer so no need to explain the machines and how they work. This person talked down to me as if I was like 5. Finally I get the pass for my 2wks.... A fanastic deal if it works for you I'm jazzed about my membership at 24 on Hillsdale. I'm finding excellent spinning instructors at times I want the classes and I'm able to use the machines when I want. I love that a lot (not all) of the spin instructors will bring you water when you run out. But more importantly they seem to know what they are doing. I also like the layout. I can't got do a cardio workout without passing the weight machines and I can easily hope on a machine when I've got 10 minutes until my class starts. ... read more
