24 Hour is not a bad workout place. It has all kinds of equipment and classes. The staff is friendly and outgoing, and the trainers really know their job. But its a big corporation and like most big corporations it doesn't seem to care very much about its customers. I have submitted written suggestions and never got a response. Broken equipment stays broken for weeks or months. The men's locker rooms need more benches. (One of those suggestions that were never acknowledged) We're almost sitting in each others laps as we chang... read more
This gym needs a janitor Since joining 24 hour fitness I have enjoyed an inexpensive membership, excellent yoga and fitness classes and lots of great machines. What I have not liked is the overcrowding, the condition of the locker rooms and the lack of cleanliness and sanitation in the gym. For all the hundreds of people who are working out there are very few disinfectant stations and quite often the stations are out of disinfectant and paper towels. The women's locker room is downright gross with big puddles of water on the... read more
bad bad place to work out Overcrowd, dirty, lockers smelly, shower does not work. Been here 3 months never see any staff clean or wipe down machine. Equipment very old. out dated. Stay away from this crowd gym. i have no choice to give 1 star, no option for no star
Busy, often dirty I joined this particular club when I lived in Mountain View, and later converted my membership to a multiclub membership. This chain makes its money through volume, and lacks some of the amenities that the better clubs have. For example, members must bring their own towels and locks. The clubs are crowded, and it is particularly difficult to get access to cardio equipment. The sales people are very high pressure, and often want potential customers to commit on the spot, without such things as a trail period... read more
Customer service could not be worse! This place is very busy and the employees are anything but accomodating or friendly. They are intent on wasting your time and selling something.
Abysmally Crowded I've been a member of this gym for 6 months, and it's the worst I've ever seen after living in 13 different cities in the U.S. Cardio equipment is impossible to gain access to, and it's so crowded in the free weight area, you actually bump into people. The only reason I remain there is because I was tricked into signing up for a membership plan, different from what I was originally told. KRON 4 did a segment on the deceptive practices they use. Go to Gold's Gym, Axis, YMCA...anywhere but this nightmare.
Full-service gym offers weights, cardio equipment, sauna, steam room, classes and personal training, open for most hours of the day. In Short With classes ranging from 24 Hour Tease, a sexy strip aerobic class, to the more subdued Vinyasa flow yoga and butt-kickin' boot camp, this active sports club is packed with health conscious (and some insomniac) gym goers. Stocked with the latest cardio and weight-training equipment, this gym cranks up the pumping music, flicks on the Plasma TV sets, and lets fitness fanatics work out ... read more
Terrible customer service This gym is not only crowded - but cheap. To save electricity, they have the temp set high. It is humid and warm in the cardio room - very counter productive to efficient workout. The free weight area is the only good part about the gym. The swimming pool is ok - indoor and not always clean... Talked to management about temperature - get standard we'll look into response - but no response. I'd avoid the gym if I haven't signed on to a long contract w/ 24 hourfitness as I (unwisely) have. What a dump... read more
