I have lived all over Canada, been bodybuilding for 11 years, and tried every gym you could name. AK is the BEST gym I have ever been to. They have all the best equipment you could get and its well maintained+clean. The cleaning staff are all very nice and do a great job. A dedicated posing room is so nice to have. Everyone is respectful in there and makes sure to give you space. And they have cardio on the top floor so I dont have to think about doing it lol. I’ve been a member for a few years now. When I asked this morning (Thursday-6am) for a second towel the front desk staff said they only provide one per member. The odd time I’ll ask for 2 as the towels are so over-washed they feel like paper towel that’s why I asked for a second one, which they usually accommodate. This time was different, and when I said I was going to cancel my membership because of that, the front desk staff said “Sounds like a plan.” with no hesitation. It's the best gym in Barrie hands down. A female only side is coming soon as well I heard. Great for our queens who want to work out minus the raging testosterone in the rest of the gym, lol. With that said. AK would compete against ANY gym in any big city. It's a five star, Ive been to Muscle and Fitness in the gta, 613 Litt in Ottawa, and more in Quebec and Alberta. AK is a gem.
