Amazing Fine Dinning Experience – I have been to 231 Ellsworth many times, and I have to say that it is my favorite restaurant for fine dinning. Do yourself a treat and order the five course tasting menu with the wine paring. You will not find a better experience anywhere! Disappointed by Service – After a long few weeks, we wanted to have a nice meal at a nice restaurant. So we were referred to 231 Ellsworth. We enjoyed the Roasted Squab with Chanterrelle mushrooms and Foie Gras sauce, chocolate fondant, and excellent wine recommendation. However, our waiter seemed very impatient, even rolling his eyes at us because we did not order right away. Faultless... – I just hosted a dinner for 24 people at 231 Ellsworth, after having investigated 15 restaurants in the area. There is not one thing I was unhappy with. It's a wonderful restaurant, on par with anything in the city.
terrific! – WE have been to this one twice now. And both times we thoroughly enjoyed it!. The food is excellent!. And the wine suggestions ! - . Richard - in charge of their wine cellar had some excellent suggestions and botht times it was perfect for the food we ordered. The service is perfect. I would highly recommend this place for special occasions like anniversaries and birht days. It is a small and quiet place.
