The area is incredibly noisy on weekends, and at night. There is only one trash chute, which can cause issues. It is frequently blocked and dirty, and can be smelled down the hall. I have found cockroaches in my apartment because the trash chute was left backed up too long. The HVAC system will release very strong smells from other parts of the building into my apartment. The apartments are modern, with large windows and lots of light. The area can be noisy on weekends, but there are lots of good restaurants nearby. I have been a serial mover my whole life, no longer than 1 year at any place. I just signed my 3rd year lease here. I absolutely love it. I think the best part about being here is the management team. I realize from talking with other friends that are renters (as well as past experiences with rental management teams elsewhere) that the team here is rare. The area is incredibly noisy, there is often partying or even live music until late at night. The building only has 1 trash chute, which consistently breaks or backs up. This leads to a horrific smell of trash, and even roaches and other bugs in the building. Something (maybe the HVAC system?) regularly releases awful intense smells into my apartment. The building itself is pretty, with nice windows and good light. But rent is very expensive for a smelly loud building with trash problems.
