A couple of typical opening day hiccups, but all of the food came out delicious! Nice little space, with lots of big flavor! They seem to be able to do it all well! We had ribs, brisket, The Flying Bird (huge and the star of the show), and catfish club. Everything was great.

Didn’t even get to try it! There was maybe 20 people inside when we entered the establishment to a women who told us they were no longer taking any customers at this time. We asked why and apparently they were so backed up the wait would’ve been hours. Again there was only maybe 20 people in the restaurant. Highly disappointed we didn’t even get to try.
The food was delicious! The brisket literally melts in your mouth, and the sides were well seasoned and so flavorful. I can't wait to return so I can eventually try everything on the menu!
Just great food! Great gumbo, catfish, beignets !
Cozy spot ,good food to go or dine in. Brisket,chicken, and fried catfish were on point, dirty rice very flavorful as was the greens , beans and corn on the cob. The owners are very nice and make sure everyone gets taken care of.
