Been coming for years and the waitress and food absolutely were awful. I will never come back after 7 years. The waitress and bartender would have gotten a lot more if they cared. Having a private event is not an excuse to be overcharge for awful service
We ate at 221 Main for our anniversary tonight and wanted to compliment this restaurant on every aspect! My wife and I were in the restaurant business for 10 years and absolutely loved the atmosphere, food and service here. I ordered the Mac and cheese (usually a steak guy) and I’m glad I did and it was amazing. My wife ordered a steak and it was perfectly cooked. On the way out my wife and I could hear what I assume were cooks and servers standing outside talking about how they get treated by the owners… I was appalled to say the least.. one of them mentioned being forced to work certain shifts or told they could walk out and that their job was 100% replaceable. WHAT??? One server seemed to be sympathetic but said something about the owners taking tips and claiming they helped with the guests… WHAT???
