My husband and I visited for the first time today. The food was absolutely fantastic! We will be returning in the future.
We arrived at the 220 Cafe last night at 7:30. They were fully booked. We were lucky to get two seats at the bar. After 5 minutes one of the servers found us a table at the back of the restaurant. Our server was delightful. I had the shrimp and grits which was excellent, and my husband had the burger and he said that it was also very good. I highly recommended this restaurant.
The food here is tasty and has a nice variety of things you won't often find in Statesville. Salads and wraps are especially good, made with fresh ingredients. I met a friend here for lunch on a weekday, and while the service was friendly, our order took much too long to prepare--at least 25 minutes. That's a definite drawback when you have to then inhale your food in order to get back to work.
