Very Talented people with lots of good practical advice and suggestions for hair . It's in china town in NY . I went from UK to this place . This time I had the Japanese hair straightening heat treatment. Results were spectacular. Tommy who owns the place is super helpful. And all the ladies who help him are fantastic. Busy place and reasonable prices . Anything you want to get done to your hair can be done here .
Felt into the social media trap of thinking a quick cheap haircut could do the monthly trim. If you just want to take off a few inches - price quality a good place. But expect miscommunications for anything else. Hair got chopped way too short with weird not flowly long layers.
I have came here so many times and I always go with Elaine and she always does my hair the way I want it. She’s always saying my hair is very thick which is fine because that’s the way my hair is. Today I went in for a hair cut and I always tell her I want volume and layers but she ruined my hair. She kept saying my hair was too thick and she thinned it all. My friend and I went to this salon a week ago and my friend is south asian and has curly hair, and all the lady did was stare at my friends hair the whole time, not making eye contact at all and told her “we only wash and cut, no styling” mind you my friend has been before, 2-3 times, and has gotten a wash, cut and style, yet today they decided to say no, and then the lady was like “if you want you can come back in 2hrs when we have stylists available” and my friend said yeah i’ll come back in 2 hours, and then the lady swit... read more
