When I went to look at the apartments, they stated in their requirements that I would need to declaw my cat in order to move in. Mutilating animals for the sake of saving money is pretty low, and I recommend never moving in here if you genuinely care about your animals. Declawing is one of the worst things you can do to a cat, and its completely disgusting they would require this.
