They are SLUMLORDS of MAPLEWOOD. The original carpeting in the hallways of one of the oldest buildings in town. They lie all the time! Nothing is new in those apartments unless it breaks down entirely and their handyman can't rig it up. They hand cut your blinds so can't buy replacements and they steal your deposit.
I really enjoyed living with 22 Company for the last 5 years. They were by far the best landlords I have ever dealt with. They were quick to take care of things, and to communicate. They were very fair to me. I'm moving because I am being transferred at work, but I will definitely recommend 22 Company to my friends.
22 Company is a great company to live with. I just recently moved out after living with them for 4 years. The maintenance staff was quick to respond and very efficient about fixing anything I called in. The office staff answered communication very quickly and got things done. My apartment was in a 100 year old building and therefor not perfect, but it was very well maintained and updated. Where do I start? I had nothing but problems living there. From no water pressure to flooding to gas leaks! I wish I were kidding. It s such a shame because the owner seems really nice, just completely clueless. He lets his property manager run the show. She she is oh so pleasant...the properties are visually appealing. That's a plus...the maintenance crew is literally two handymen. If you want to repair anything don't even think about it. They like to keep things original. Aka broken. Having lived in various apartment complexes & multi family buildings for 20+ yrs, 22 Co is by far the best I've experienced. I have been renting from them for about four years & have no plans of moving. I never have to wait long for maintenance and my concerns are always dealt w/ fairly. I have never had a problem reaching Matt, my calls or emails are returned in a very timely manner.
