I lived in this building for 2.5 years and had an extremely positive experience. The building and amenities are fantastic and consistently well-kept. The staff is absolutely wonderful -- every service request or small headache you might find as an NYC renter is responded to within 48 hours and addressed. I moved out on May 25, 2025, and as of July 8, 2025, I have yet to receive my security deposit. Despite multiple attempts to contact both the building staff and the management company, my calls and emails have gone mostly unanswered. On several occasions, I was told a check would be sent with two-day tracking, yet no such payment has been provided and or tracking number. My fiance and I lived in 21 Chelsea for 3 years and it was a fantastic experience. The staff is friendly and kind, from the doormen to the maintenance staff, always attending to any issue big or small. All of the doormen were fantastic and Deva’s friendliness and bright good morning greetings will be missed dearly!
I had such a great experience living at 21 Chelsea for 4 years! The building itself is nice, well-maintained, and in an unbeatable location. Amenities are solid and the atmosphere is always clean. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the incredible staff. They’re genuinely the best part of the building. I lived here for 2 years and cannot emphasize enough what a great place it was to live. The building management ( Mia and CJ) and doormen (Deva in particular) are some of the kindest, most empathetic and helpful people you’ll ever meet. Great facilities and responsive team not to mention in an ideal location.
