Right in town, nice bar, tasty fare, good folks on duty. Great hot dog w/ pickled onions, hot peppers, mustard, on crispy bun
We went for breakfast and I had the breakfast sammie. I added bacon (extra crispy, which was done perfectly) and the potatoes and it was amazing! Honestly best breakfast sandwich I've had in awhile.
This was our first stop when we arrived in town. We were greeted warmly, then it was explained that we were coming on the heels of a large rush of lunch customers. Several menu items were not available, which was explained to us prior to ordering. My tomato soup was served thick, like a dip. The quiche was mildly seasoned. The fruit cup was a welcome and healthy "dessert." The service was competent and friendly, especially when we asked for local information.
The first 3 items we tried to order off the menu of maybe 20-25 items were not available. The pictures of the food look way better than it actually tastes. The burger was okay but nothing special at all. The slaw was about as flavorless as you could make it. $3.50 cans of soda are certainly a scam as well. I will say the staff was extremely nice. The food just didn’t hit the mark for us.
Crab dip was great.
