I like it here. Close to everything without feeling like everything is too close. Very easy automated system in paying rent. Staff is great. Yeah, there's a huge homeless group that hangs out on the benches across the street, but they play a lot of Taylor Swift on their radios so, can't complain. The only improvement personally speaking is that I face an enormous, inaccessible courtyard on the Clarendon Blvd side that I wish was available to build a community garden and had a few trees so my cat could enjoy watching birds du... read more
2001 Clarendon is a wonderful and very comfortable place to live! I have been in the building since January and have enjoyed the wonderful amenities, kind and responsive staff, rooftop deck, grills, and patio, and overall great property!!
Tupelo Honey Cafe construction began on a satuday at 8.30 (against arlington code for noise ordinance) with a lot of noise. They are still hammering plastic things on their outdoors. (They had began drilling at 7 am during the weekdays, as well). Disappointing that the management does not have any regulations on their retail stores so that people living in their own building and around can sleep well on the weekend!
There is a ton of disgusting trash in front of the 7 Eleven that is in this building. I guess they are too cheap to empty the trash or keep their property clean? Really a poor addition to a nice neighborhood.
