Just got carryout and it was probably the worst meal I've ever had. The shrimp salad is made with salad shrimp and it's warm so the shrimp are mushy and disgusting it was served in a container full of watery juice so your roll is complete mush. The jalapeño corn chowder had chunks of flour in it as big as the potatoes. Just terrible overall and incredibly over priced for bad food.
Glad that we stopped here. The cooking is phenomenal, portions are ample, and service is friendly. I especially enjoyed the pulled pork on Texas toast. My sons gave big thumbs up to the kids' meals. (Popcorn shrimp with mac and cheese as a side - my younger boy was in food heaven!) I live several hours away, but will be glad to eat there again the next time my travels bring me near Salisbury.

Paid $9.50 for a chicken sandwich I had to throw away and head back out to buy something else for dinner. The chicken was a rubbery (un-chewable) from frozen fillet, unseasoned, unappealing at all. There was no lettuce, no tomatoes, no pickles, all of which I requested. And a tiny little 1/3rd handful of greasy fries. I'm positive all of the 4 and 5 star reviews on here are family members of the owners, no way someone would be impressed. We finally came in last night after driving by and wondering for months if it was any good. Today, kicking myself for not finding out sooner! The food was slap-yo-mamma good, the atmosphere was like sitting at home waiting for your best homemade recipe to come out of the oven, the people, shout out to " J-la", will soon be our new best friends. I can't say enough good about this place. Thanks for a perfect Friday night dinner guys!

I stopped in for lunch this week for the first time and it was a great meal. The pork sandwich was awesome, it came out looking great and the service was awesome.
