If I could leave zero stars I would. This company did absolutely nothing to assist with credentialing. We had to go back and fix their errors as well as complete all credentialing. We have also continued to receive billing statements despite terminating their contract months ago. Do not recommend using 1st credentialing for anything, it’s easier to do it yourself and save the time, effort, aggravation that comes along with their services.
This is a very ineffective company to work with. I used them to help with credentialing for a new medical practice and our information was lost multiple times, went through multiple coordinators that seemed to not communicate or were always "out of the office", incorrect information was given to payors, and hidden charges kept accumulating even after I terminated the agreement. Beyond terrible. Can not even begin to explain the level of disorganization and unprofessionalism we had to deal with. They completely made a mess of everything. Please do yourself a major favor and find another company that actually knows what they are doing.
If you need a 5-star credentialing service, 1st Credentialing is the one you should choose! In over 35 years of RCM experience with credentialing teams and vendors, 1st Credentialing is by far THE best in the industry. Aside from the basics of enrollment, contract management, etc, their client service is exemplary! Believe me, I've asked for some pretty tough deadlines, and they exceeded expectations every single time. They are one of a kind and it is a true pleasure working with everyone on their team.
Hired them a year ago. Worst experience so far. They charged thousands of dollars for doing nothing.
