RecommendedThis was by far one of the best getaways we have had..... the white tail cabin was the peace and serenity we needed. Wayne National Forest is a beautiful site to look at in the morning from the deck of the cabin watching the wild life. Not to mention the staff went above and beyond when my son left his house keys and ID at the cabin, I called as soon as my son told me after a 2 hour drive he left them, the staff was understanding and was able to find them and mailed them to us. So 10 out of 10 totally recommend.
A great choice of cabins, offering peace and quiet. Very nice creature comforts such as washer and dryer, cable, air conditioning, and a hot tub to make those days of hiking end on a nice and clean note.

Do NOT rent any of their residential rental properties! I cannot speak on behalf of their cabins but we have dealt with fleas TWICE, and now MICE!! There are black stains all over the walls from what another realtor in the area has said is from crack! No one even attempted to touch up the paint when they had TWO WEEKS before our move in date. Steer clear, we wish we never signed the contract!

We have spent 5 New Years in Hocking Hills with friends. Last year we had to find another place to stay. We found 1st Choice and will continue to rent from them. Beautiful cabin and they have easy rental and customer service is always great.
We Rented the bobcat cabin very clean, spacious and quite. Easy booking and the staff provides excellent customer service 5 out of 5 we plan on staying again
They were my landlords and ignored two emergency calls for a bursted hot water heater resulting in a flooded bedroom, bathroom and closet. I had previously given notice that I was moving so they left me without water from September 13 through September 30, also left me with plywood floors after tearing up carpet and left me with black mold in three rooms. My family stayed in the Sandy Run rental. it was awful and we didn't even make it through our first night. Millipedes and spiders everywhere including the kitchen, living room carpet, and a bunk bed. The front door didn't seal so they came in under it in droves. My wife spent 2 hours vacuuming the entire place. The jacuzzi didn't look clean either with greenish water.
