Roof is now leaking through our walk in closet and the breaker for the solar keeps tripping. **UPDATE** After no response from these guys, we went with another company to re-roof our house and fix the wiring problems that were originally created by 1Solar. We've had no problems since EXCEPT that they won't stop harassing us. We've told them numerous times to not contact us. Recently expanded my solar with a Tesla Wall battery expansion using 1Solar. The reason for the 1 star or zero stars is the confusion or lack of clarity around billing. Per Normal a deposit was required, and then after the work was completed a bill showed up. I paid the full amount of the bill and requested a receipt. 1Solar sent me an invoice showing "PAID IN FULL" so I could submit for a rebate from Tesla. ABSOLUTELY RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! I left a previous 1 star review and in their response they made up a bunch of crap about how they had come to my house on March 26th, and how my system is operating properly. I still have the same 3 panels that aren't working since my system shorted out 2 years ago because it wasn't installed correctly and the box filled up with water when it rained. Solar1 good but Gerardo is amazing. I had an inverter that wasn’t working for at least 4 months and an outside company SolarEdge had to fix in. They were very hard to get a hold of. It was frustrating but Gerardo was always there and did a hell of a job running point on the situation. He truly cared about getting the situation fixed and my stuff handled. With people like him I know Solar1 is a good company. I’d hire him if I had a company that dealt with people.
System was installed in 2019. Stopped working June 2025. Spent a MONTH trying to get someone to come check it out, only to be told it would be $700 to replace the little box that monitors the system. Why that isn't under warranty I don't know, but DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not stand behind their work and will leave you high and dry. I'm going to try and go the legal route to recoup the cost of the now worthless panels on my roof. Absolutely terrible and predatory practices at play here. I feel swindled.
