I was a big fan of 1Solar when I first purchased my Tesla battery system. While I still owed money, it was easy to get someone on the phone. Now that my system is paid in full, getting anyone to answer the phone has become nearly impossible, and I’m often left on hold. I’m still waiting for my system to be turned on. Every day it’s delayed is another day I’m losing money in energy savings and production. That’s frustrating because this should have been the final step. Not only does it not produced what was promised, they won't send any reps to my area to fix issues. The solar array hasn't been communicated for over 3 years. I've done all the steps asked of me.
My inverter stopped working so I called and they said a replacement was ordered. I didn't hear anything for several weeks so I called back. They scheduled someone to come out and look at the old one and replace it with the new one. That person called in sick that day and never showed. I got notified of that well after the fact and rescheduled (that took 2 weeks). The technician came before the scheduled time and I was still at work. Roof is now leaking through our walk in closet and the breaker for the solar keeps tripping. **UPDATE** After no response from these guys, we went with another company to re-roof our house and fix the wiring problems that were originally created by 1Solar. We've had no problems since EXCEPT that they won't stop harassing us. We've told them numerous times to not contact us. They've call, sent people to our door twice, and sent multiple messages from multiple numbers. Do yourself a favor and find another company for your roof... read more
Recently expanded my solar with a Tesla Wall battery expansion using 1Solar. The reason for the 1 star or zero stars is the confusion or lack of clarity around billing. Per Normal a deposit was required, and then after the work was completed a bill showed up. I paid the full amount of the bill and requested a receipt. 1Solar sent me an invoice showing "PAID IN FULL" so I could submit for a rebate from Tesla. Now 3 weeks later I received an additional bill from 1Solar stating I owe more money. How can that be if it was paid i... read more
