Been going here for years, and bringing my disabled mother to a specific doctor we felt comfortable with. Today was told that the doctor in question only works 2 days a week and is booked out for TWO WHOLE MONTHS. Completely unprofessional and unfair practice to allow such an excessive wait time for a SINGLE general practitioner. Avoid this place of managerial incompetence.
I’m really disappointed with 1Health Medical Centre. Over the years, I went there because it was convenient and used to bulk bill. However, their approach has become increasingly sneaky. I have been a patient at this clinic for some time and have never been charged for referrals—until now. Without any prior notice, I was suddenly asked to pay for a referral after the fact. Neither the receptionist nor the doctor mentioned a fee at the time of my appointment. Only later did they call me, claiming that the charge applied because I saw a different doctor. Knowledgeable friendly staff. I case of doubt, they are consulting amongst the team to find solid solutions for individual problems and challenges. Having their own lab on the premises speeds up service and allows for close collaboration between doctors and lab team. Definitely recommended!
Not recommended Today I had an appointment at 9am mainly because I want to do a blood test. I am the first patient but the doctor was late and called me in at 9.10 I was asked how long ago did I do cervical test. I said I did it last time recently. She said she couldn't find it from the record and ask if I did it somewhere else. She asked me a few times and gave me a look as if I am lying or something(speechless)....
