My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and everything was wonderful. Our server did a great job explaining all of the dishes as they came out and everything tasted great. We decided to share the specialty cocktail that is offered table side and enjoyed it so much we ordered another one. We can't wait to come back and dine again soon!
This hurts me rating a 4 because it’s closer to a 4.5. This was our first Michelin restaurant and it’s definitely worth the experience. The student led service team is impeccable and very attentive. The drinks were above average. The food comes out in waves - small bites but high in taste and very unique. The price point is higher than some in the Auburn area might prefer - but we’d recommend. The location and view are perfectly placed on campus.
When Dad was in town for his 76th birthday I jumped at the chance to treat him to a place in the Michelin Guide. The team did not disappoint! Thank you for the memories 1856 team!
Absolutely one of the best dining experiences! Anna was our server. She showed so much care for our family and our experience. The meal would have been outstanding but with Anna at the helm it was elevated to the next level. Every detail was taken care of before I even thought of it.
