This is the worst apartment I've ever lived in. We were excited to live on the lake, but the building has become a nightmare for us. The problems began the day we got the keys to our unit. We entered the unit to learn that they never cleaned it before we moved in. The unit was FILTHY. Absolutely trashed. The balcony was entirely covered in dirt and spider webs, the inside was dusty, moldy, and everything was scuffed up and dented. My boyfriend and I had a tour here and it was just the cutest place. Cassie had a fantastic tour organized for us. She was open, honest, and fun as she showed us the various available rooms the parking garages, and amenities. The rooms were open, clean, and fairly priced. Though there is no pool and the gym is a bit small, the lake is RIGHT THERE with a ton of walking paths. No complaints from me with that option!! Love calling 1800 Lake home! Management and maintenance staff have always been wonderful to me here which is why I stay. Love the rooftop patio in the Summer and the community grills! Coffee machine makes the best vanilla coffee also. The building is well-kept, and the lakeside location can't be beat! One of my favorite little touches is that our manager always finds time to add some decorations depending on the holiday, season, or time of year. Can't say enough good things about living here.
Overall a nice building, however not all units have proper ventilation. Attached pictures showcase how the sliding glass door may get in the winter (resulting at times with puddles of water in your home). Highly recommend ensuring ‘caulking’ has been completed correctly on your unit before committing to a lease!
