The similarity between 180 Lees and 170 Lees is that both have pest issues, but in different ways: 170 has insect pests, while at 180 the management itself is a pest to society. My item was stolen in the laundry room, and they didn’t even care. The main tenants had rented the room to me without informing management, yet management blamed me for this and supported the main tenants instead. The management consistently behaved in a threatening and humiliating manner.
Moving to this building was a mistake. I’ve been here for less than a year, and I’ve already had two packages stolen. It feels like thieves and inconsiderate people live here. The elevator and hallways usually have a musty smell, and on top of that, we’ve also had a cockroach problem.
I lived here for many years. Rather than write an essay, here are the Coles Notes: Pros: - it's cheap - it's centrally located - over the years the superintendents were wonderful and did more work than anyone should be expected to do in one day - the current receptionist/admin in the office, Emily, is wonderful to deal with Cons: - Major issues with bug infestations, mostly cockroaches - nothing ever gets upgraded to code (e.g. units still have ancient fuse panels and not even GFCI plugs in the washrooms, just 2 examples) - ... read more
Been living here for almost a year and a half. The management is amazing always ready to help, even though it’s an older building maintenance is always up to date.
