First visit was for a Wine Event and my Husband was very sick and could not drink any alcohol or eat any food so the Owner asked Kirk, the Bar Manager to give him a bottle of the Caymus (from the Event) to take with him as this was not an inexpensive event and prepaid. I had such a wonderful experience at 1799 Prime! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful, elegant, and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, which made the entire experience feel special. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can tell that a lot of care goes into both the menu and the overall dining experience. The food and cocktails were tasty but overpriced. Service was very friendly and they easily accommodated a tricky food allergy, but everything was slow (we were there for 2.5 hours). I mentioned that we were celebrating my parents' 40th anniversary, yet nothing special was done for us, which I thought was odd. The restaurant itself needs fixing up. I noticed lots of messy things - the fabric on the booths is coming apart, two bathroom sinks are broken - not at all what I would expect for a night out at an upscale steakhouse.... read more
Saturday night was suppose to be a nice dinner between my partner and I. We were trying to celebrate me getting a new job and finishing school. Unfortunately we couldn’t. When we first walked in everything was okay. Was a little confusing but eventually a server had directed us to the back for the hostess booth.
