If you have the opportunity to use this company, RUN . . . don't walk away!! They have absolutely no back-up plan when a care giver doesn't show up or quits at the last moment (I've had this happen with THREE of their care givers within 3 weeks). They just apologize. Apology's don't provide care for my mother! They are inept and totaly unprofessional!
RecommendedI used to be an employee at 1776 and I loved it during my time. They were very kind and helpful to the people they were assisting with care. They made sure the caregivers matched well with them. It made me fall more into love with what I do which is now CNA work at a retirement community and private care.
1776 Senior Care has been such a good fit for our family. Not only do they provide the regular scheduled care givers but they have always been so helpful to fill in for us when we need extra help. They have never left us hanging. Also, we have had WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL care givers from 1776. Thoughtful, gentle yet firm, easy to work with, pleasant and competent. On the rare occasion that ones personality has not fit with Dad's, 1776 has been quick to find someone else. I highly recommend 1776. They go the extra mile.
