My husband and I dined at 17 West in New Bremen Ohio for our anniversary dinner. I found a hair in my meal, the manager apologized and comped us a free dessert. A few minutes later my husband found a small bug crawling around on his plate after showing this this to the manager he blamed it on “Murphy’s Law”, and charged us for everything except the dessert. Food had good taste, possibly better without hair and bugs. If you dine at 17 west check your food before you consume it.
It's a great place for an evening out. Great food and friendly people.

Very disappointed in the direction this restaurant has taken. The food is sub par and the management poor. Very disappointed in this establishment which only caters to the higher ups in New Bremen. Tried using a gift card and didn't find out until checkout that their machine was down. Scrambled for money and then their problem became MINE. Complained about it and was offered nothing to compensate the inconvenience.
Lurking Turkey Sandwich? Delicious- I would eat the cranberry chipotle mayo by itself with a spoon! Perfect patio, just lovely. The entire menu looks outstanding. Will make the 2 hour trip again for dinner. And 17 West is right next door to the most enjoyable museum I've ever been to-the Bicycle Museum of America. Special shout-out to the best server ever: Yo (Yulanda). GO HERE.
