Awesome staff, super delicious food and good portions!
My wife and I are locals and vegetarians. The vegetarian menu consisted of multiple options for both appetizers and entrees. Our dinner and service was excellent with wonderful views of Manteo harbor.
My husband and I had dinner here for our 10th anniversary. It was perfect! The small setting was exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing, and so was the service.
It must have been an off night for 1587. The ladies ordered chicken; it was okay. I ordered tuna atop cold, tasteless potatoes, and garnished with a worse slaw. My brother in law received average lamb chops when our dinners were finished. I won't drive past Basnights again for 1587.
Everything we ordered was fantastic! We will definitely be back next vacation.
