Maguette and Jeffrey were an absolute pleasure to work with! Looking for an apartment is NYC is always stressful but working directly with Maguette made our experience 10x better. Both are extremely kind, supportive and full of knowledge. I have already recommended Rudin buildings to all my friends.
This review is for the team at 136 E- i have been a resident tenant for 15 years ++ and what keeps me renewing yearly (i wish every 2!) is the staff in the building. The standard is set with Mojica who holds his team in the highest regards and makes you feel safe and cared for. As a family with young kids, the staff is always going out of their way to stop and spend time with the kids and get to know them and see them grow up. 5 Stars for Erania, the community manager and the building, along with the doormen, porters, & the rest of the team! If I can give them 10/5 stars in the team being super helpful in helping me settle in, I would. Erania is extremely responsive. When renewal came up, I was interested in others units I would be able to transfer to and she was on top of it. Upon renewal, the management company will shamelessly and uncompromisingly raise your rent the maximum amount legally permitted (8.82% this year), and not a dollar or percentage point less. Direct quote: “While I understand the increase may not be ideal, your unit is far below the market rate and subject to the Good Cause law, which limits how often and by how much the rent can be increased.” So beware of renewals — be prepared to move if you can’t tolerate a rent hike of 5% + inflation.
