Move-in process was seamless and the apartment is nice. Lots of great building amenities and the door staff is helpful. Location is also prime. A few quick fixes which maintenance resolved. The main outstanding issue is the AC in the unit smells extremely damp and musty. Tried addressing this but I’ve been told I need to figure it out on my own. Lived in 1350 for 2 years and could not have had a better place in Chicago. The location, staff, safety, amenities, and value for your money simply cannot be beat. If we ever move back to Chicago, we will absolutely be coming back to 1350!
Sharing my pros and cons of the building as someone who lived there for a year and recently moved. I will say overall a great place to live with a few caveats! PROS: Amenities - gym, rooftop, market on 1st floor, laundry room (nicest i’ve seen in a lot of buildings), dog wash in the parking garage, etc everything is pretty well kept! Be cautious before signing a lease with this management. In my third year of renewal, I’m facing nearly $1,000 in additional charges compared to my starting rent in 2020, escalating from $1,500 to almost $2,500. This increase seems unjustifiable, especially given the lack of amenities like a pool, the building’s poor maintenance, and the lack of transparency about costs and unexpected fees.
