We had water under a floorboard and our insurance sent out a plumber who stated it was possibly a slow leak from a washing machine. We wanted to do our own investigations to make sure no leaking in the walls was present as the laundry had smelt damp for a while. We paid out of pocket for a leak detection service to confirm there were no leaks in our laundry. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and provided no value.
