We moved in last July. Everything was great until it wasn’t. 2 of our closets started growing mold because of poor ventilation. We were told to leave to doors open (they were always open) closets continued to mold and so did a lot of clothes. We started to smell the mold when we walked in the rooms and it would leave me with a headache every time I woke up(haven’t had one since we moved). Going into my 3rd year of living at 12th and James. They just switched to new ownership/management as of last month. And you can tell. I would take any previous reviews with a grain of salt as the apartment complex was once a nice place to stay. Management is less kind and less eager to help. Refusing to take care of simple things. I had hoped for more from the company, especially after my roommate and I were in a dangerous situation living across the hall from some people who were participated in illegal activities. I think from my first experience being there, even without seeing an apartment. The new management, with Stacey, the new Property Manager, I think they're in great hands. I'm quite sure she will have the necessary pieces to continue making this Property GREATER!
Kennedy is the absolute best! Thanks for everything, Kennedy. Not only that, I appreciate everyone involved in the process. I’m very happy to be a new tenant here. UPDATE: I’ve lived at 12th & James for a year and a half or more. Maintenance is okay for the most part. There were times where I had to put in multiple requests for the same issue because they didn’t fix the root cause of the problem or didn’t fix it properly. The gates are always broken. The trash chute stays clogged and trash is everywhere all the time. The poo... read more
