Excellent place. I have been coming here since I was 17 years old and would not want to stay anywhere else. Their rooms/apartments are extremely clean and furnished up to date. Their location is unmatched right on the beach and A1A intercostal on the opposite side of the beach. The manager Shannon is simply amazing and makes sure to take care of you. After a couple of months with cabin fever at our FTL home, my wife Sandra and I had the perfect weekend retreat during 1229 Apartments stay. Location is awesome and we had great 3-day bike rides on A1A. Our stay was perfect and I highly recommend this Greater Fort Lauderdale option. We rode bikes on the third day to Boca Raton, and had awesome take-out restaurant food in the area. Local Indian Park on the Intracoastal Waterway provided for sundown celebrations.
