I moved into 1212 East late February 2023. Shortly after moving in, I noticed the thermostat wasn’t responding and the apartment was cold. There was RARELY a property manager in the office, but the then leasing agent, Shelby, did everything she could to help me. The maintenance man basically lied to me (and Shelby) when he said it was just that I needed a new thermostat, when in fact, the system wasn’t even working! Update: 7/22/2024 I was kindly asked to take down my review while management works on becoming fully staffed. It's good to see them acknowledge the understaffing issue, but it's unrealistic to expect immediate fixes. These changes will take time, and it wouldn't be fair for new residents to walk into this ongoing mess. Unfortunately, every neighbor I've talked to in the building is experiencing issues with the Leasing Office, so it's not just me. Incredible experience with the leasing office and staff! Natalia and Maria were so helpful and responsive. They went out of their way to help make the tour, signing of the lease and move in smooth and comfortable. Jimmy was a great help with the move in!
Leasing is outsourced to a 3rd party call center that calls themself the "central leasing office." I called the number listed in the website about 10 times because nobody showed up to my viewing appointment, and each time a different person from a different country picked up. Each time they routed me to the "local leasing office" which was then forwarded to the "central leasing office" because nobody in the "local leasing office" was available. AVOID this complex at all costs. I have lived at 1212 East for two months and have had issue after issue. Firstly, I moved when the property was transitioning to new ownership and the leasing office manager completely forgot that I was scheduled to move in until I called the office to schedule picking up my keys. Though she was apologetic, this resulted in me having to push my move in date back several days and completely rearrange my plans.
