Excellent Food The menu is very creative with alot of variety. I had dinner tonight with a chef friend who was impressed with how well they cooked her fish and that they actually took the time to peel the asparagus. Its Very consistent. If you believe in supply and demand then this place is excellent because it is always packed.
Amazing Food and Service!!! 121 Restaurant has and always will be one of my favorite Westchester spots. I recently moved back to the area from Manhattan and was elated with how much of 121 had changed while remaining at it's core philosophy, the same. i walked in and saw a few familiar staff faces. THE place to go for lousy service and rude management I was in a party of four. Each course was rushed. In fact, plates were picked up from in front of us while we were still eating from them. I had to stop the bus staff at points so we could finish our food. Good food but crowded and noisy I've been to 121 Restaurant a couple of times, and generally have had food that's acceptable, but it's been very crowded, very noisy, and the hectic environment meant that I really didn't enjoy the meal. There aren't many places in the vicinity, so it's become a bit of a gathering spot - so if you want to be part of the scene, fine - but not a great place for a relaxing meal.
Good, but I thought it would be better. I went to 121 with a group of friends and we sat at a table in the bar area. The salad and desserts were excellent, but the pizza was only so-so. Actually the pizza would have been good, if it wasn't so burned. The crust was black on the bottom and I was surprised that they would actually serve it. I didn't return it because I was with friends and didn't want to make a big deal, but I wouldn't go back. I think for $40 meal, the pizza should not be served burned!
