I’ve been living at 1200 East West for about six months (5th floor), and as a DC native who’s lived at several apartments in downtown Silver Spring (The Pearl, Lenox, and Gramax, just to name a few), this is by far my favorite. The location is perfect—close to everything while still being quiet. The building is incredibly well-built and soundproof. Great customer service, very personable, and answered each and every questions we asked
I have lived here since mid-December, and I am already ready for my lease term to end. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere if you other options to consider. I chose this community over the one diagonally across me (V) because of the amenities, cleanliness of the building, sense of safety, and excellent concierge service, but I have been met with other issues that have left me with a bad taste.
